What HISTI does
A clearer picture of your information-sharing habits.
Choose one person or audience. HISTI walks through different kinds of information and asks what you did — or would — share with them.
Reflect, don’t disclose
Choose descriptions of what applies. HISTI never needs the actual password, address, ID number, account detail, or other private value.

Before taking the test
Six things to know before you begin.
You stay in control from the first question to the result.
Pick one person or audience.
Answer the whole check-in with that same person or audience in mind. You can use a private nickname instead of a real name.
Never enter the real private information.
Do not type or paste passwords, codes, addresses, account details, government IDs, exact locations, or other true sensitive values. Choose descriptions only.
You may refuse, skip, go back, or stop.
You have the absolute right to refuse any question. Sensitive Categories C and D can also be skipped from their warning screens.
The questions become more sensitive gradually.
You will see a caution before B, a warning before C, and another warning before D. Nothing should surprise you without notice.
The result is a reflection, not a judgment.
HISTI is not a diagnosis, legal opinion, safety certificate, personality test, or measure of your character. Context still matters.
The main check-in is not intended for users under age 13.
HISTI does not ask for your date of birth. A separate children’s version is coming soon.

The production browser policy uses connect-src 'none'. HISTI’s active check-in runtime has no answer-upload endpoint and no fetch/XHR/WebSocket/EventSource/sendBeacon path for check-in state.

Refuse any question.
Use “I’d rather not answer” for one question or refuse the rest.
Skip sensitive sections.
Categories C and D can be skipped when their warning screens appear.

What HISTI is — and is not
A reflection tool, not a verdict.
HISTI does not diagnose anything, determine whether a disclosure was safe or unsafe, provide legal advice, or score your worth. It summarizes your answers using its published scoring rules.
