What does the number mean?

P and O show which side of the private-to-open scale your included answers lean toward. The number shows distance from the midpoint, not a percentage of your privacy.

P100
The private-side endpoint. P40 is 40 points toward the private side of N0.
N0
The midpoint. It can reflect middle choices or a mix of private and open answers.
O100
The open-side endpoint. O40 is 40 points toward the open side of N0.
What’s included in your result

“I don’t know,” “Not applicable,” and unanswered questions are not weighted. “Prefer not to answer” counts as 1 point for that question, not as a neutral answer.

The overall score combines the scored areas using the test’s existing category weights. Each topic uses only its included answers. Missing areas are excluded; they are not filled with zero.

The descriptions are broad readings of this scale, not validated cutoffs. A similar overall score can hide very different topic patterns. A different person, purpose, or moment may change your answers.

The score is not fully accurate to true privacy and openness values. Never use a score as a reason to share passwords, codes, or identifying details.
